Individual therapy

I offer a confidential and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and life challenges. Through this process, you can develop greater self-awareness, understand patterns in your behaviour and relationships, and learn healthier ways of coping with stress, anxiety, depression, and other difficulties. Therapy can help you build emotional resilience, improve problem-solving skills, and strengthen your ability to manage life transitions or traumatic experiences. Over time, individual psychotherapy can lead to improved psychological wellbeing, more satisfying relationships, and a greater sense of clarity, balance, and personal growth.

I see adults and teenagers and I work predominantly from a psychodynamic perspective which means that in-depth feelings and experiences are worked with. The aim of this is to develop a capacity to get to the root of the issue and not just focus on symptom relief. This therapy is usually long term, but benefits you in becoming self-reflective and insightful about your thoughts, feelings, and actions, so as to lead a more meaningful and effective life and to have more fulfilling relationships. I do incorporate CBT and DBT techniques where required.
